It started as an idea. A craving, really. One of those late-night “what ifs” between a wife who could strategize her way through anything and a husband who never met a hustle he didn’t like.

We wanted something that hit different. Not just another dessert, but a cake that felt nostalgic and new at the same time. Something creamy, rich, and cultural. That’s when we leaned into our roots and came back to the dessert that always made everyone pause mid-bite: tres leches. But we didn’t want to make just any tres leches—we wanted to infuse it with flavors people didn’t even know they craved yet.

We experimented in our tiny star-up homebased kitchen. Played with textures, flavors, milks, and have so many memories in our kitchen. And slowly, what started as a simple passion project became a whole vibe: The Lech Dulce Project.

It’s more than cake—it’s our story on a plate. She’s the brains, the one who sees the bigger picture, always strategizing next steps. He’s the muscle, the one sourcing ingredients, pushing to get orders done and building connections one sweet plate at a time.
